L03 Camshaft Fuel Pump Lobe??

Does anyone know offhand if the L03 camshaft has a fuel pump lobe? I noticed my Lo3 did have the fuel pump provision and had the hole drilled also, was surprised and may try to run the engine in an old carved truck of my friends.

I don’t believe the cam has a eccentric . You can always push in a pump rod and have someone manually rotate the engine and see if you feel movement.

It's been a few years, and aside from just my memory there's a bit of gray area, but I had a 305 TBI engine out of something... I think it was actually a Caprice/Cadillac/etc engine rather than from a thirdgen, but it went into a Chevy pickup with a mechanical pump and was fine. Not like it matters, you can get an electric pump to feed a carb at most parts stores for not a lot of money.

Could go either way. The early ones built along side with the LG4 typically have the lobe. The later ones typically lack it.

A fuel pump lobe is just a 395' Marine cam swap away though.
