needs help I'm stumped
ok so I'm new to Camaros I just got this 91 Camaro with a 305 its a automatic its been sitting for about 4 years and I've had it running now for about a week. One day I was going to work and the car shut off on me at a light I got it home checked the service engine light and it came up a code 21, code 23 and code 24. I replace the throttle positioning sensor it idles fine in park and neutral, but every time I try to accelerate when its in drive or reverse it cuts off what could this be??? I've already cleaned the IACV

Check for vacuum leaks, ohm your injectors, should be in the 1.1 -1.3 range, and check your injector spray pattern, should be conical shaped, not dripping. Would check fuel pressure next and possible replace fuel filter. Good luck.

I've changed filter and one injectors once I got it but i was doing digging and found I think it is adjustable, when I installed the tps I just slapped it on and cranked the car I just went to test the new tps and it was at .642v I tried playing it to see if I can get it lower and it stayed there just got higher can that be the reason it cuts off? I'm going to return that tps and try to get another from a different store the old tps was reading 1.856v and that wasnt WOT.

This is where data logging comes in handy. Then you can see what the ecm sees. As long as the new tps is functioning properly, there is NO need to adjust it. Every time you start the vehicle, the ecm uses what ever voltage it sees as its baseline. Although, if the voltage is over or under a certain threshold, then it triggers a fault code. Did the fault code come back with the new tps?
Your code 24 is the vehicle speed sensor. Does the speedo work? I had a similar stalling problem. It ended up actually being the speed sensor! My speedo was working fine, but my data log showed that the speed sensor was reporting a sudden change in speed that was over the fuel cutoff speed (speed governor). This just made the motor turn off. It would then restart as if nothing happened. This only occurred once the car started moving. So it would idle fine at the stop light, but die as soon as I tried to accelerate. Took me a while to determine it was the speed sensor.
One more thought....in the gas tank, the fuel pump is attached to the hanger assembly with a short rubber hose. After many years of being submerged in 10% ethanol fuel, the rubber gets soft and splits. Enough fuel makes it to the motor to run, but not enough to drive. This can be verified with a pressure gauge.

Re: needs help I'm stumped
with the new TPS installed no new engine codes just blinks 12 also I might add the day I found out that my VSS cold came up I looked up under the car to change the fuel filter and noticed that it was unplugged I plugged it up and that's when I start cutting off so I'm assuming it may be the VSS sensor so when I get to my car I will unplug it and see how it runs after I unplug it I'm guessing it could be that because besides the TPS sensor that's the only other adjustments that I made to the vehicle was the plug the VSS sensor back in
