I tried to search....but either I didnt see it or I am a ditz.


So.


We originally had planned to swap the L03 for a 283 SBC with a carb. Ive read too many things that will comlicate this and determined I will stick with what I have.

We do want to do a couple of mods to eliminate the weak spots. That being said we have ambitions for a cam and head swap. My question is this. Can I take the heads off a 5.0 tbi vortec motor and swap them onto the L03 with a LT1 cam? I have read this shouldnt be an issue, but would like some affirmation from the community and some general opinions.

We plan to keep the 5.0 and swap later if thats an issue, but seeing the motor has low mileage.....

We also have some nice headers to install. I think this should eliminate the weak links. Im going to research the tuning options some. I am familiar with HP Tuners so hopefully this will be along the lines I need.
