Advancing base time on a TBI'd SBC?
Will advancing the base time give any performance gains at WOT? Sorry if this question was asked in another post, I searched for it, but never found an answer.

I bumped it up 2 degrees at a time, I stopped at 4. It seemed to like it, but its now hard to start and idles rough when its not up to operating temp. Not sure that little bit of gain is worth it. I'm gonna knock it back to 2* and let it roll.

Hmm that's kinda weird .. Never heard a one getting rough and hard to start from only 4* .. I have an LO3 with 230k miles and just bolt ons and I got my base at 6* ... But that's only used for start up seeing as I have eBL and it is compensated for in the tune .. But even before ebl I was using about 4* and it seemed to
Run pretty good .. It would crank slightly hard at 220* F though but after the EBL I never get over 190*
