Car: 1992 25th anniversary RS Camaro
Engine: 305 T.B.I.
Transmission: ????
Axle/Gears: ??????
tbi on crate motor.

If i were to swap a crate 355 into my RS would i be able to use the tbi system and just upgrade to the 350 stuff and tune it?

Yes, mostly larger injectors and/or additional fuel pressure. The knock sensor could be swapped but isn't critical. The knock filter, you can get an HKR module from a full size Chevy van and swap it in. They are easy to find and easy to swap.

Make sure you take care of the fuel delivery, this part is important. No 255lph pump required unless running 30+ psi of fuel pressure. A TPI pump or 190 lph pump is plenty of fuel. Tuning is also a must.

so i could leave the main computer thats already in there alone as long as i tune the chip correctly.

yes, as long as you hook all the sensors back up and up the fuel parts like RBob said, you can use the same computer and tune according to the new parts.

if you can find a tbi unit off a 454 setup, you'll get the bigger injectors and bigger butterflies; may be worth looking around for
