Re: Without dyno testing...

The 170 is at the crank. You still have to factor in drive train losses. Thats why its less, lol.

But yeh I was hoping for like 180-200hp at the rear wheels with the crud I got done... But no, I got 146, lol.

Re: Without dyno testing...

Bone stock, mine put 142 to the wheels. After headers and 3" exhaust it got 154 to the wheels. Car runs pretty rich though, when I figure out how to lean it out, might get a little more.

Dream on....about 140 RWHP and I am being generous. No big power adders on your list. You just made it run better.

Yeah only real performance thing I got is exhaust. And yeh I got the EBL Flash and the reason I did the dyno was to tune the car for my new fuel system, it ran pig rich with the Walbro 255 in it so I had to tune for that.

Lucky.... my afr is spot on and I only made 146, must have just been differences in the dynos. But I should be breaking 250hp at least after im done with my build up. If I dont im just going to get out of the whole car modification thing, lol. Just my supercharger should get me to damn close to 200hp.

All you got over me is the rockers and removed some drivetrain weight. I heard the intake doesent really do much...
I doubt you have over 170-180 at the wheels. Now once you get the ZZ4 stuff on def get it dynod

Very promising numbers for me!
Once I figure out what cam I need for the supercharger I should easily get too 300whp with new heads.

Another option is to bottle it, I made 298 rwhp, ~450 rwtq with a 125 shot. If you're going to tear the heads off and really get into the motor, I'd say swap the low compression 305 out for something with a little more potential. 300 whp isn't anything to sneeze at, but that's a number that's easily made with a low budget 350 build. Just something to keep in mind! Good luck!

Well im aiming to have one fast 305TBI, I cant bear to junk a good motor [45k miles on it right now]
I already got my exhaust and fuel system done, and I got a whipple supercharger coming in the mail and im going to get some ebay heads and a camshaft plus edelbrock intake manifold. Should get me too 300 maybe even more. Just the supercharger should get me too 200whp [up from my 146]

What all do you have done to your car? And by weight it isn't just SOME weight that has been pulled out. My car weighs 2900 flat. That's with the iron heads and mostly stock suspension. I should be adding abit to the list here shortly, (stimulus check) in the form of an S10 converter, Wideband, D.R's and maybe some juice. I have been thinking about selling the ZZ4's in favor of a good set of vortecs. I hear the EQ 059's are pretty good. Maybe the E-Tec 170's. I haven't quite decided yet.

I said DRIVETRAIN weight, like pulleys, driveshaft etc etc. Your car could weigh 1000lbs, its not going to give you more hp, itll make it faster.

Theres my car

Far as heads go im having some guy help me, hes gonna take a look at these ebay heads I wanna get. I was thinking of getting the ZZ4's, but then I changed my mind.
