running rich
i have a 91 RS 305 tbi with an open air element, no cat, and a flowmaster... its running super rich, we have already had to put another set of pugs in it after 1 months...and now we know why the person who had it beofre us had 100 bucks worth of plugs in it... the tubes goin to the cats are jus tied into a bundle layin on top the trans... how do i get ride of them? would that make it run rich if they were jus open and not closed?
thanks guys

Re: running rich
belive the tubes are air tubes for smog purposes. My car also runs really rich, took it to a mech, said it was the computer, im not sure how accurate that diagnosis was but my car is still running, not the best, but still running and still rich :/ timing is good to.

Re: running rich
Have you done any datalogging?
Replaced any sensors?
What plugs are you running?
The tube that runs to the cat is attached to the back of the block, once you remove the tube you can plug it at the cat.
