smoke after bunch'o'mods
So I did the vortecs, milled to 56cc's with .015 shim gaskets. New springs and seals on the heads, lt1 cam, performed air gap intake, ultimate TBi mods, hooker headers, cat delete. Car runs fantastic, but I get a puff of bluish smoke every now and again when i start it. No oil in coolant or coolant in oil. Could I have a bad valve seal, even though they are new? any ideas as to why it does this, only on start up? NEVER did this prior to mods, and it started immediately after mods. engine appeared to be in good shape, cross hatches in all cylinders still, no ridge at the top of the cylinders. Any ideas?
Thanks, Matt

When i first bought my car it smoked a little on startup. Then i removed the AIR system now its like theres little elves hotboxing my catback and all the smoke comes out when I start her up. Its all good after that though...

As far as brand of seals, not sure. I took the heads to a local reputable machine shop. The advised me to a few things, so I'm sure if the guides were worn they would have tried to sell me new ones. Is seals or guides what i'm probably lookin at here? All emission crap is gone, not that this would make a big difference at start up.
Thanks again, Matt
