NEWS of snflupigus!! LOOK ->

News...

Nic now owns http://www.snflupigus.com

Open el is now a doc that can be printed or downloaded vs just the pics (no highlight/copyable text) version.

Next... TBI Pics have been updated - go here
http://www.snflupigus.com/partspics.htm

Still a load of thumbs on one page, not dialup freindly but if you have highspeed... go for it!

And as always, if you have other stuff that i dont have or show, send it over and I'll add it. It's been 1 year since i owned a tbi car... Maybe soon.

o, and can i get a renewed interest list of people who might want a 2" billet throttle body unit that fits a square bore?

FOR SALE SHAMELESS PLUG

Cool Site with a lot of good photos of TBI housings, injectors, etc..

You many want to swap your Thermostat and White Faced Gauge pictures though (your web site, under the TBI section)- they are reversed.
I normally wouldn't say anything, but it is realy close to a picture of a spark plug and your text reads to the effect, if you don't know what this is get the heck out-!!

Glad to see you are still out there- the 914/4 is a pretty cool looking car- nice,.

---

Didnt notice the placement error... thanks.

914 weighs 2139 lbs... 2L flat air cooled 4 = 95 hp (116 lb/ft) =

22lb/hp - not that great BUT i can take an intersection flat without slide at 45mph and the tires dont even wimper. It's an autocross godsend. Havent got out yet though - clutch just got replaced a week ago.

356 replica weighs ~1700lbs and wants about a 150hp type 1 vw engine. (engineless right now). It had a 60hp vw in it

new engine = 11lb/hp = better than the 05 bmw z4
1600cc vw = 28lb/hp = not good at all.

lo3 thirdgen...

3100 lbs - 170hp = 18lb/hp -- not too shabby but.... tougher to get a big car to handle than a little one.

The 05 base vette is ~8lb/hp. The 914 dreams of a subaru sti engine and boxter transaxle. - weight = 60lbs less and 350hp.

914 with a sti engine... 6lb/hp
gt40 mk2 = 4.9lb/hp

btw, bill - what did you want for the bird again?

Holy Crap!!! Didn't expect to see you posting on TGO! Nice work on the open element walk-through, I know if I had one to print out when I first did mine it'd made a WORLD of difference!!

I don't know Nic, I go back and forth between keeping it and selling it. I've even thought about selling both and getting a corvette.
