3.08 to 3.73s
Time for a gear swap on the G20. Nothing to the setup and its only going to cost me $100.00 in parts including the Brand NEW richmond 3.73 cogs. Maybe now I can turn some better times without the highway gears. I know around town it will be much snappier.
What do you'll think I will gain in TBI world with the gear swap.
I also have a comp xtreme 256 on my shelf in the garage that would be about a 25 hp gain in my 312.
I also have a weiand single plane EGR intake that could be used with a little elongation.
Single plane and TBI=best of both worlds.
Maybe I can beat my old 355s times.

What changes do running differant gears make without changing the speedo gears?
Fast are you running a speedo sensor?

Not sure what you will pick up but when I went from 2.73 to 3.42 in my Camaro it was a night and day difference. I don't know what my gains were cause I never ran it at the track with the old gears. But you will not be disappointed
