New times after gear swap

I recently just put in a Zextel Torsen Take off posi with 3.42's in my car. And all I can say is wow. The car is so much faster out of the hole and it's generally pulls better from any rpm, it really puts the car right in its power band. Anyhow, I will be taking it to the local track for some offical times next week and I will post them. What I have right now are some g-tech/pocket dyno times. My 0-60 went from consistent high 6's/low 7's to low 6's with an occasional high 5. My quarter mile time dropped from a best of 15.0@97 to the two runs I have made thus far, a 14.6@96 and a 14.4&99. I know the trap speeds are off due to being g-tech but the et dropped considerably. Not quite lt1 territory but not bad for a basically stock lo5 with a few bolt ons. I'm hoping that when I put my holley tbi with a good intake manifold it will help drop it a little more. Looks like suspension and a stall converter are next

Awesome man, I am glad to see you got it together. I cant wait to see what times youll be hitting when you get the holley unit and a good intake. Hopefully your track times will reflect the G-tech times. Its really cool to see that you stuck with it even when you were having problems, I bet it feels good to finally see everything coming together. Congradulations.

See TBI isn't so bad afterall. You just have to find the right combo of parts.

Thanks alot guys. I'm pretty excited about how the car is runnin now. It's slowly getting there. Thanks for all the help I've recieved from everyone on these boards, I wouldn't be where I am witout all the help. Anyhow, besides the holley/intake combo the next big thing on my list is lots and lots of suspension mods. I'll def post my track times next week though. Thanks alot again!!!
