New Gtech times, a few questions...

I haven't gteched my car in a while so I decided to tonight. However I am confused on my 1/4 mile time. I only did it once and got a 15.12@ 97mph. I know that the gtech mph is usually a little bit higher but even at that isn't that speed high for that time? Why does my time suck but my speed decent? Also, my 0-60 was 6.5, a slight improvement from 6.66 last time. I think these times are pretty decent but after searching on the boards I see alot of guys with lo3's say they are running low 7's and mid 6's. I dunno if this is or not but oh well. I know that the best my friend's 92 Rs could pull was 7.94 with open air, 3.42's and a decent catback exhaust. Anyways, any ideas with my times?

Those times arent that bad. The Lo5 heads are pretty restrictive and the cam is pretty weak to. I got the times in my sig with basically your same setup, but with drag radials and a holley 670. Oh and my car wasnt bored over, but still that doesnt make a huge difference. those times arent bad for only exhuast mods considering the engine. If your not planning on doing any major engine mods(new heads, cam , etc.) You could try 1.6 roller rockers to raise the lift on your cam a little, that would help. All in all those times are decent for a basically stock engine. You see some real nice times with gears,an intake, and a bigger throttle body aswell. Good Luck.

I am happy with those times for now. I will be getting my posi/gears as soon as I get my tax refund check. However, what's up with the mph? Isn't that kind of mph usually associated with mid to high 14's?

not really you have ron the 97 mph on the g-tech so its really 92 mph and that is about it,89 stock 5.7 is roughly 95-97 at 14.6,90-92 5.7 14.20-13.90 99-103mph..
