Why do we radius the TBI BORES? SEE PICS

Well, because it works. And here is proof. This is a caddy, front engine v8 car.



If they do it. you should too.

btw, is that not funny that the casting is nearly identical except for the hole for the pod? It think its amazing and funny at the same time...

also note the use of the stepper motor for the throttle instead of an iac, the iac is used for the brake vacum.

well of course you would want to radius the bores, with it opening into a wide open open plenum, it gives you the ventury effect, and that added volocity shoudl really help the overall flow.

BTW, just because caddy does it, doesn't always mean it is better, i tend to side with physics

That kind of got me thinking. . .

Why not leave the ridge up on the back side so as to help trap the air? Almost like an air dam forcing the air down, similiar to the function of our air dams on the front of our cars.

Any thoughts about that?

becuase it takes in air in from all around the sides and if yo have the ridges up on one side then it cant take the air from the beack part of the filter where the air comes in.
