sbc 400, part 2 with pics

here are some pic i just took tonight. a few changes since last time include my coil (accel power coil), heddman headers, and a caprice cop chip (not shown, ordered from someone on this site). the chip will do me a bit better than a standard 350 truck chip that i would have been using, but not as good as a custom one. it does have egr disabled like i wanted along with the speed limiter (not necessary, but it was free)

Damn looks good. How did you get the brackets looking like that?!?! Are they painted? When I go to put a 350 in my car I think Ill take the extra time to detail everything like you did. Looks great and i bet its gonna scream.

the brackets were painted with 1500 degree hi-temp paint, along with the headers. heads were painted with a 500 degree "cast" paint and the block was painted with 500 black. running into a small problem at the moment with the brackets though. the 12v + connection on the alt sticks out and hits the valve cover. just gonna rotate the back of it 90-180 degrees to get it to fit right
