UMI Torque Arm Hitting Speedo Sensor

Hey all.

So i have the UMI torque arm relocation bracket and adjustable torque arm. The problem I’m having now is that the torque arm is hitting the speedo sensor on the 700r4. Has anyone experienced this or remedied it? Pic attached

Re: UMI Torque Arm Hitting Speedo Sensor

i don't have direct experience with this torque arm with 700r4, but i have had to shorten this torque arm to avoid similar problem on t56 swaps. i cut the end off and weld a plug in the end

Same. Cut an inch off the front with our T56 swap to keep it clear of the speed sensor. As long as it goes through the bushing you won't have an issue.

Thanks, yeah I found the issue with mine. I’m running a new hawks 8.8 rear and the size of the rear of it moves the torque arm up further. Cut an inch off like you guys said and all it good
