BMR Torque Arm Relocation Crossmember clearance
Was wondering how much ground clearance you all had that are running this Crossmember. I have 3.5 to 4 inches of clearance at a stock ride height and just wanted to see what others were running and if you had any scraping issues? Not running yet but seemed pretty low to me.

I just installed one and it has been dragging on speed bumps and just about everything. I am also running Eibach Pro-Kit so that doesnt help.

Which trans are you running with it? Mine has a T56 but seems like there would have been plenty of space to push it slightly further up in the tunnel.

T56 as well but it is the crossmember that sits low and no other way to mount it. I dont have any side shots but maybe I can get one today.

Yeah I was just thinking it seemed like BMR could have easily created it with quite a bit more clearance. But what do I know?

And I thought my UMI crossmember was low, that there takes the cake

The hooker one looks like it will tuck it up super tight. Anyone have shots of that?

Re: BMR Torque Arm Relocation Crossmember clearance
So I got a pretty good deal on the Hooker Blackheart piece on black friday and had a chance to get it in. Took a fair amount of fab work to move the holes but these mount with 6 bolts instead of 4 which makes it seemingly much more sturdy. I still need to get a photo of it on the ground but even with it on the lift you can tell how much higher it is tucked up. Just as an FYI, you have to drill two holes in the frame and slide a mounting piece through the frame with a telescoping magnet or something. This was by far the hardest part for me, even with a lift.
This crossmember also raises the shift **** up close to an inch or more over the BMR piece, which i personally like. Seems the T56 sits at a better angle than it does with the BMR crossmember.
I know it says the piece requires the use of the hooker blackheart engine mount brackets, but I actually got this to work with UMI adjustable engine mount brackets. Like I said, I had to do a little modification to the Hooker piece to allow it to move further back, but nothing too major. In my best estimation, it would bolt up perfectly with the fbody oil pan flush against an unmodified stock k-member (hopefully that helps someone).
All in all, I'm super happy with this piece but it just sucks to have to cut into new parts.
