Panhard Bar Relocation Kits- Which One To Buy

Panhard Bar Relocation Kits- Which One To Buy
I plan on lowering my car about a inch or so all around. I have UMIs Upper Panhard bar, and founders adjustable Lower. I am worried that the 2 bars will touch and bind when I lower the car. I was told I need to lower the drivers side using UMIs kit. They offer 2 different sets, one with just the lowering bracket, and another with a Support bar. Is the support bar really needed? Do you guys think I need the bracket at all? This part by UMI seems new, I have not seen anyone bring it up till I went looking for it. Anyone run this part?

The 2064 kit is adjustable (1 3/4"-4"), while the 2063 kit is not (2 1/4"). If you need adjustability, then the choice is clear. If not, the 2063 is a simpler install.
You already have the "support bar" by means of UMI's 2024 kit, or the Founders equivalent, lowering the body side of the panhard, so either of the kits you list will lower the axle side to bring the panhard level.
As someone else found in those picture, there is possibility of binding, which is always bad.
I agree, there isn't much talk about the axle side bracket. I think because suspension geometry and its discussions are and get complex. Contrast this to LCARBs where everyone can understand wheel hop and see the LCA running uphill on a lowered car, and get the axle side bracket to make it level.

No, the extra support bar is a brace for the axle side mount. Its not needs unless your pushing the car very hard on sticky tires

I haven't seen the UMI piece. I used the Jegster. Shouldn't need the support bar if the bracket is sturdy enough and you weld strong. There is a fair amount of force applied here, though.
