Hello, I just put a tru track on my 87 camaro and now my driver side tire hits the inner fender/bump stop while the passenger side has plenty of clearance. I can't imagine anything would shift that bad much less putting in a new carrier bearing? Has anyone else ran into anything like this. Thank You

The bar right behind the diff that you have to take down to get the carrier out? Nope, i only involved the passenger side of it and bolted it back when I was done. It was kind of tight and a pain to get back up and thought it could be my issue if it pulled the axle over but all I did was one side?

Well, just installing a different carrier wont make that much of a difference unless you somehow managed to install the wrong series carrier with a huge amount of bearing shims on one side, but idk if that's even possible.

There's no way the axle being off center is related to the carrier or axle internals. Something is funky with the pan hard bar. Take a look at that. Is the car @ stock ride height or lowered?

That's the weird part. Everything is bone stock. I had it for one night, pulled the engine the next day and started redoing everything. Even if that bar is out it does the same thing on the driver side. I'm no master mechanic by any means but I have been around and played with a lot of stuff although this is my first older thing I have messed with. I replaced the bushings in the panhand bar, d idnt put it back in yet. See if that makes a difference. Thanks for the replies guys.

Wouldn't happen to have the wider 4th gen rear installed would you? I know on mine when I have the wider BFGs installed it will rub the inner fender on one side. To have a stock tire rub the fender with the stock rear end would be a lot of offset. I guess also make sure that you have the rear wheels on the rear, assuming you're using stock wheels.

Perhaps not to any major degree, but yes, its "possible"

Op, what wheels and tires are you using? Can you provide some pictures? What's the ride height? You can always buy an adjustable panhard bar and correct this problem, provided nothing else changed.
