Car: 86 IROC
Engine: 5.0 TPI
Transmission: 700-R-4
Axle/Gears: 2.73 open
strut tower braces

im about to do the SFC mod ,and want a strut tower brace as well . who uses what ? i like the look of the "triangulated" ones . they seem to be the best bet. but i cant seem to find one . any ideas??

Did a google search for "strut tower brace tpi" I have the 3 pt Edelbrock one and it looks just like this one.

None of them say if can clear a Holley stealth ram intake. Going coil overs I want to do this at a minimum.

I don't believe there is one that will fit with the Stealth Ram.

Check out the BMR 3-point STB brace. They look very nice in the engine bay and they provide a little extra clearance that some of the other braces don't have.

Yea hoping my paracing k frame and style engine mount drops it an inch.

I've been looking for a STB as well, but none say they fit a car with the HSR setup. The BMR mentioned above by blacksunshine'91 does appear to have more clearance, I just emailed them to ask if they knew if it would clear or not.

If they don't know but will agree to a return if it doesn't fit, I'll probably purchase and give it a shot - but probably won't do that until spring time.
