What founders performance arms and panhard bar?

Just found out about Founders Performance yesterday. Going to order suspension parts from them. Which parts should I buy for a everyday driver. Panhard bar, lower arms, springs etc. I'm new to this and see many of you here use their products.

For a daily/cruiser just getting the bottom of the line poly/poly arms would be fine. No need for rod ends or anything fancy. An adjustable panhard and their Caster camber plates would bea nice touch if you lower it unless you want it to look stock for shows.

After you lower it, you may want lower control arm relocation brackets to cure wheel hop if you do any burnouts.

If it's lowered (or plan to) get adjustable LCA's and Panhard Bar...
The 3 way poly joints on the LCA's (not much more $$$) are great and provide a smother ride than just the poly... because they let the rear end articulate easily...

I ordered the three piece poly bushing, control arms. Just what I was looking for and at only 20.00 more than the basic arms the price was right. Should make for a better driving street car.

Glad I came across this and for the price it's great. It seems like running the rod ends all around would be best, didn't see anything about a 3 piece poly bushing.

3 way poly
http://www.foundersperformance.com/1...ce-poly-joint/

If it's a street car, go with that, if it's a drag car or track racing, go better...
They will make more noise than the 3 way poly.

And then run the adjustable poly panhard bar? The car will mostly street, but will be tracked often as well.

Re: What founders performance arms and panhard bar?

Only need adjustable LCA & Panhard if your car is lowered / not running stock height... Then you may also need LCA relocation brackets for better traction...

Personally, lowered looks kinda nice, but the ride is harsh.
I have new stock height springs. Bilstein shocks and struts. I've installed Spohn and Alston subframe connectors, Spohn TQ arm, all poly bushings, Delrin A Arm bushings, Strut Tower brace, Steering Brace, etc...

Car is day and night different from stock...

Since I kept mine stock height, I went with non adjustable LCA's and Panhard bar... I did get the 3 way poly, it's a street car...

Re: What founders performance arms and panhard bar?

Well dam I'm not exactly if I want to lower it nor how low I'd go. These founders parts seem like a must though.

I'm currently in the process of overhauling the complete front suspension with energy suspension bushings and moog parts(on my 86 z28).....dropping the k member to clean and paint everything is the next step on the path.

Re: What founders performance arms and panhard bar?

If you're thinking of lowering, get adjustable... keep em stock length until you do... Then at least you have the option...
Every little thing I did made a difference in how the car handles...
The biggest to me was the Spohn torque arm. Much more planted, responsive, better acceleration / braking, etc... It is a bit noisy, I need to check if it's hitting the fuel line bracket....

Get something that allows articulation or stay stock.
