Where can I get these?

I went to all my local part store and they have no clue what I am asking for. I need to acquire a set of clamps that hold the sway bar on to the axle.

Here is a picture I robbed from another member.

If im not mistaken, advance or autozone should have them on the shelf right next to the sway bar end links. Energy suspension brand. Just make sure your getting the right size for your application. Im sure you will probably be able to get them elsewhere, but I got mine from advance auto and no problems.

They come with the bushing(correct term?) And bracket.

Re: Where can I get these?

They sell the bushings, but I need that u bolts and clamp and they don't stock them. I think I might just weld a bracket to the axle that has threaded holes. That way I do t have to ever worry about it rusting out.

Re: Where can I get these?

I promise they sell them. At least where I'm at, usually the u-clamp is sortof stuck onto the new bushings that they have stocked. Have you physically looked at the shelves or just asked the parts guy behind the counter?

Re: Where can I get these?

Thanks guys, The part I need is the part that looks like an exhaust clamp but has a wider face on it for the bushings to sit on. I have the parts in the links you guys posted already, I need the actual u bolt that somewhat resembles an exhaust clamp.

OHHHHHHHHHHHH

I see what you're talking about. Man, I feel dumb, haha. Might be able to find one in a junkyard somewhere, even if it's not on an f-body.

Re: Where can I get these?

If you ask for sway bar to frame brackets, they can find them. As a mechanic I've bought them many times, always in stock from napa

My local napa told me to go to the custom axle shop in town. I was tired of running around and never went. It seems like it wouldn't be that hard of a thing to find. Everything I see at the part yard is typically stuff not worth putting on my car, NY salt has a tendency to rust any bare metal threads like that and even when if find them they snap.
