'sport' steering box

Can someone tell me the difference between a 'sport' and a stock steering box for the 3rd gens? (yes, i searched, that seems to be getting harder and harder to do of late) Is the difference only in 'lock-to-lock' or is there a resistance difference also? There were 2 options apparently, and I'm trying to figure out the difference between them. Thanks!
