Weight Jack Springs...where?

I was wondering where everyone is buying their weight jack parts? Other than from Ground Control since they won’t ship to the US for me since my billing address is CDN. I don’t feel like paying UPS shipping and probably $100+ duty.

I’m looking to get (2) 6” 1 1/8-20 jack bolts with 7/16 inside thread, the grease collar’s and some springs. I am going to build the rest at work since I can’t seem to find the cups I need to replicate the GC units. Do the Ground Control Fronts use this style threaded rod? Just a 7/16 grade 8 that bottoms out in the rod so you can still spin the rod? I am also thinking of beefing up the top plate using 3/8 material since I noticed a thread where nidnightfirews6’s top plates bent inward from bolt pressure.

For the Rear I am going to use the ALLSTAR adjusters. It looks like they don’t have notches for spanner wrenches but I can also do that at work. I can seem to find what the ID of them are either. So I may need to weld some adapter to have them slide onto the rear spring perch.

So far the pieces are easy to find, it seems I am having a hard time finding the right spring sizes.

I am thinking 5”x9.5” 800lb front and 5”x10” 175lbs or 200lbs rear. I am looking to achieve around 25.5”F/26”R fender height or so. I will be running 17x9.5 ZR1’s with 275/40’s all around, also Koni single adjustable all around.

Are you guys using the stock rubber spring cups on top of the springs in the rear?

Thanks for any info! Looking to pull the trigger on some of these parts next week since my rims and some suspension pieces will be in then.

Jay

Coleman sells all the stuff but their website is a pita to use.
I use a company called 'south west speed' for those kind of parts. I like beir site better and tbey have always been helpful people

Yes they use 1 1/8 bolts and you can use locktite to hold the retaining bolt.
