Viking Shocks, a thumbs up
I recently got a set of Viking 2 way adjustable rear shocks. Love them.
Have a LSX conversion, with coil overs. The Bilstein rear shocks, left over from my SBC days, were a bit of a mis-match, with the Koni Red struts and 300lb springs now on the front. The Vikings solved that, and more. They are great.
UMI sells them.

300lb springs now on the front
Rather unusual combo...
What is the purpose of this car?

Sounds like he has front coilovers so 300lbs is not unusual
