Junkyard find, blue lowering springs??

So I was at the junkyard the other day and I found a wrecked 85 trans am with tokico hb 4001 struts and HE 3613 rear shocks, also on the car was these really deep blue springs. Was thinking of grabbing the whole setup since they don't look that bad shape, and probably better then my 1989 setup lol. What I'm wondering is can someone identify the springs for me?

Here is a pic of the back ones

A little too dark to be the 80's Suspension Techniques blue springs. Suspension Techniques is now "ST" and the stuff is purple.

THose are quite possibly SSS racing springs - SSS is Suspension Spring Specialists (The "blue coil spring" company)

Are they tighter winds up top of that rear spring? If so they are one of either, but most likely the SSS that were ordered painted

I would have to go back and check on the windings but I believe it wasn't.

Re: Junkyard find, blue lowering springs??

I bought those same tokico shocks and struts on ebay and it came with those same springs as a kit. I wanna say they were a 1.6 or 1.7" drop.

Thanks Konartist, had a feeling that was the case but couldn't find any info about them. How did you like the setup?

Re: Junkyard find, blue lowering springs??

It was a good crisp ride, I had no complaints with them at all.
