I went to install drop springs on my ride only to find out that I already had Eibach Prokit on my car. I wasn't happy with the ride height at all, and the prokit had to have been installed before I bought the car 12 years ago. I would have to say the should have been plenty settled.

If possible, I would like to cut the Prokit to drop it another half an inch or so. I don't know how much to cut off...

So I would like to just keep the Prokit since the Tokico springs only say they drop the car 1.25/1.5". I could sell the new Tokico springs.

Should I just install the Tokico springs or cut the Prokit? I need an answer by tomorrow. What would you do?

Id avoid cutting springs if i were you. I dont have spring rates and such in front of me for the tokicos so i cant compare that but i know the prokit only drops the car 1 inch which is not enough for some. I have the prokit in mine and like the stance and ride quality it gives. If you want to go lower will .25/.50 more be enough for you is the big question. If yes then throw the Tokico springs in there.

I ended up going with the Tokico springs. It dropped the rear another 1" or so, and the fronts stayed the same. I am sure they will drop a bit more once they settle.

The old front struts were blown, so the ride is AWESOME now! I am running the adjustable Tokico struts running them on 3 all around. If anyone wants my fender height I can go measure.

Good deal! I have been running the prokit with tokico illumina struts/shocks for about a year now and like the ride as well. I have the front set to full stiff and the rear set to 4. I may or may not lower it down for a bit smoother ride but i like to feel whats going on with the road. Those two things plus the BF goodrich pro comp 2's were the best thing i did as far as handling for this car.
