traction bars?
well i should be getting my credit card in the mail hopfully monday. beenign waiting almost 3 weeks and its bound to show up anyday now.
anyways i was just checking out the jegs website to see what i can buy with my new shiny credit card. and i stumbled across this.
http://www.jegs.com/i/Lakewood/620/2...744077%7C10083
would this work? and how does it work? anyone know?
is it worthless or would it be a good upgrade to the suspension for launching?

Re: traction bars?
Those are for A/G body cars.
Third gen suspension doesn't get axle wrap the same way other suspensions get. "Traction bars" don't work with third gen suspension.
All you need is a few basic aftermarket suspension components to replace the weak factory stuff.
Adjustable torque arm that moves the front mount off the transmission. The adjustability allows you to adjust the pinion angle.
Lower control arms and relocation brackets. Poly bushing ends are fine for a street car. Rod ends for a race only car.

Re: traction bars?
if you posted the wrong link by accident and meant to post the lakewood traction/lift bar setup that they make for the 3rd gen, dont bother with them either, they are not the best things out there. Stick with a good set of LCA's, panhard, crossmember mounted torque arm and such from UMI, spohn, ect... whoever you prefer
