Post tire, wheel, and pics of your setup!
I would like to see this turn into a way for anyone to see real pics of wheel and tire sizes. So we can see what works and what looks good. And please say the full tire size and brand as different companys vary a ton. Also what was done if any to make fit.
As it stands now there are a few people asking if wheels will fit or what is the biggest size. That are not getting answered.
As it stand I have 4sets of wheels for my cars and still think i need to buy another set. LOL
Thanks

I think the reason it's not getting answered is that it's getting old. This has been posted so incredibly many times it gets tedious.
Try searching, I think this exact thread has been posted before, albeit maybe on the auto-appearance/detailing board. If you absolutely can't find a similar thread, i'll post mine

I think he is trying to get a "sticky" with just pics and info, which I think is a great idea.... many other sires have this already (at least 4 I frequent)
I would love to see pics of different wheels on everyones car in 1 POST, not 300 different ones......
----------
Here's pics of my old 92 RS w/ 16" KMC Punch rims.
You cannot buy these anymore which makes me a little disapointed because I sold the car back in 2001 and just got another white one and wanted to make it look like my old car, but cant

Yes a Sticky would be nice. As it would be nice to have a small data base of wheels and info so anyone can go window shoping for what they want.
But to be usefull it needs to have brand, size, backspace, info on any mods to make fit and a pic that shows how far if any it sticks out from the car.
Thanks guys!

yes there is a thread somewhere out there in cyberspace. but there are hundreds. a sticky with OEM and max size for stock wheels 15" an 16" would be a great start. Then we can move to aftermarket. I know for the RS 16" wheel 235/50/R16 is stock. 265/50/R16 is the widest tire possible while still being safe on the highway.

Re: Post tire, wheel, and pics of your setup!
265/50/16 is a very uncommon size. 255/50 is the norm. - Widest possible on factory wheels is a question that gets asked basically weekly by nembies.
----------
yep. If you want a sticky, compile the other threads and submit it to a moderator. I'm not posting pics here, it's been done too many times before, thus there's no reason to further crowd the bandwidth.

Re: Post tire, wheel, and pics of your setup!
Looks like you had to cut the fender in the rear. I am going to try the MT radial tires that fit a stock 15x8.5 (stock 92 rear wheel). I will still follow some of the clearancing tread so there is room in the future.

Re: Post tire, wheel, and pics of your setup!
hi everyone..i realize that it seems everyone is kinda sick of this question..BUT..im new here hoping to get some answers for my rim and tire question.i have a 2001 camaro ss and i am running a 285/40/18 nitto drag radial with the bump stops cut out and a little bfh to get them in and they are working just fine.as far as the rest of the suspension and brakes, its all stock..i recently added a little naughty juice (NOS) into the mix and its apparent to me that traction is going to be an issue....SO,the question..i want to put a 15x9 or a 15x10 rim..does anyone have a clear answer on what rim/backspace AND tire size will fit in the back???..i would appreciate any and all help..thankx...and also can i keep running 17s in the front or do i need to run 15s on the front also?
