I know to defintely not drive the car without it. But I need to get it off the stands and move it over in the garage. Is that ok to do?

the pinion would rotate up, way up. i'm not sure if it would come up enough to unseat the springs, but its not healthy.

Cool so there should be no problem moving the car without a torque arm? I just took my engine and transmission out for a cam and head swap today. And while i'm at it i want to build a decoupling torque arm with sliding upper link while i'm at it.

Thanks

if you drive it, you will tiwist your driveshaft or bust a u joint. buddy tom did it in his 4th gen. he broke a torque arm and didnt know it. driveshaft fell out.
not good at all.
you can push it around or roll it around all day, it wont hurt it.
dont drive it tho....
