60 ft times
What are some of your 60ft times, with a stock or near stock (bolt-ons) motor and modded suspension? Please post the times and what mods to your suspension you have done

With a mostly stock thirdgen you really wont need much in terms of suspension mods to 60ft well, other than a set of drag radials unless by bolt on your talking about nitrous, supercharger, or turbo.
I know my car is not what your looking for though it is not very far from stock either. It's a 3.8 V6 with TH400 trans and 3.08 geared 12 Bolt.
Up front I have a PA Racing tubular k-member and a-arms with Koni struts and QA-1 coilover springs(14"/130#).Out back I have Hotchkis panhard rod and trailing arms with KYB struts and stock springs with air bags in them(5#L/25#R).Torque arm is a Jegster which I really like.
I run 26x11.5x16 ET Streets and consistantly 60ft in the 1.47-1.49 range(1.47 best)
HTH,
Steve

I also have a TTA. Mine runs 1.89-1.95 60' times on BFG Comp TA's. Suspension is totally stock. The car has a chip, test pipe, open air cleaner, and a mild stall. Never had slicks on it.

I will add that though the Koni's are good struts,IMHO they are not the best struts for drag racing and am switching to Competition Engeneering or Lakewood non-adjustable 90/10 struts and 50/50 rear shocks for 2004 after seeing how they operated last year.If I were more concerned with street and handling I'd make the compromise and stick with the Koni's but I'd rather go for 1.3x 60fts

I am installing the Comp Engineering c2700 adjustable rear shocks when i put my rear in, i've heard the koni spa1 drag shocks are better then the 90/10 shocks but at 189 a piece that's a little rich for my blood. I may go lakewood 70/30 for the front since the car does see some street use. I wish they made adjustable front shocks like they do rears. Wouldn't it be nice to go from stock to 70/30 to 90/10 depending on the what you need for street or how the track was prepared?

Your right, they do not adjust all the way or at least I dont think they perform like they do.In the end the koni's arent made for drag racing, more of a street or road course strut.
I'm changing them cause I'm not happy with them.I want a lighter single rate 90/10 strut made for drag racing that wont unload the rear tires when they come back down like the koni's do.
