can rear spring be installed wrong?
I just had a shop swap rearends in my 86 iroc.Everything seems fine except for a pop or clunk coming from the rear only when I turn left or hit a sharp bump going under 30mph.The noise wasnt there before but these fools messed up one of my wheels so bad I wount take the car back.It sounds like a spring is moving around or popping. The noise seems to be on the passenger side rear.If I rock the car side to side in the rear sitting still I can just barely hear the noise.Everything I can see is tight.Maybe a spring isolator? they reused the old ones.thanks

my problem was a broken sway bar end link on the pass. side rear.I did a search and found someone else with the same problem, went out and looked again and sure enough the bolt is broke.

I just did a rearend swap yesterday and have the same problem. I KNOW everything is tight, and I know I installed the springs with the insolators on them. I was going to check today and make sure the springs are seated correctly.
