Heavily modded intake and AFR heads for sale…

I bought the intake from Allen, 1989GTATransAm years ago. He put a lot of work into it as documented on this site. Intake had to be sent to Wilson Manifolds who modified it to work with the AFR heads. Intake fresh from Wilson. AFRs are new and unused. Also available is a Donovan large bore (4 1/8”) aluminum block, Scat forged rotating assembly, Moroso oil pan and associated parts to assemble engine. Block prep done by Dave Ebbert in Costa Mesa. Engine ready for assembly. 372 ci.Prefer to sell the entire package but feel free to make offers. Lowball offers will be ignored. No ship.

With the exception of Allen’s intake, all parts are new and unused, and most parts are in the original packaging. Needless to say, all are sold as is, where is, with no warranties express or implied, except as provided by the manufacturer.

If anybody is interested in a package deal let me know. I’ll have to make a list of all the block components, such as Scat forged rotating assembly, ARP fastener, etc which will take awhile. As noted, block prep done by Dave Ebbert, DNE Motorsports in Costa Mesa and the block is ready for assembly. If you want to talk to Dave about the work that was done, give him a call.

Although I prefer to sell the package, I’ll start by separating the intake and heads. The heads are bare but I have the components as well, so those are included in the package: $4250.00 OBO.

Is that Dave ebbert Jr? Used to work at his dads (and H(harold) auto parts distributor business. Jr worked for Kuhl performance back then.

Got a question from a potential buyer about the block. He said it needs an EO in order to be smog legal. Anybody know for sure? Thanks.

Re: Heavily modded intake and AFR heads for sale…

Here is what CARB says: If the replacement block or engine is obtained without emissions equipment, all the equipment from the original engine must be installed on the replacement block.

I am not aware of emissions equipment on a bare block but I could be wrong.

Re: Heavily modded intake and AFR heads for sale…

You would need to keep all the emissions related stuff from whatever car it goes into. The TPI/AFR might be the ones that need a EO# to be smog legal. Unless you put it all into an emission exempt chassis.

$4250 for the "package," includes what, intake and heads? What are you asking for the aluminum block? 2-piece rear main seal Gen 1 SBC, new/never used?

intake with runners and baseplate. Heads are bare but I have the valves, etc. to go with them. Will post the info from DNE about the heads, as well as the list of parts for the block in the next few days. Wouldn’t want to sell the block without the rotating assy, fasteners, oil pan, etc. Block ready for assy.
