Re: Dr. Jay's

It sucks when shops close and don't give your parts back finished or not, I hope you can track them/him down. What parts did you have at Dr. Jay's

I had been trying to contact him since August. I finally got a hold of his mom and she stated that he'd be back in October and that business will continue as usual.

I call him, leave him a message about once a week with no return call. I tracked him down on social media; he seems to be active on it due to some weightloss show he's on. Hopefully that'll grab his attention...

He has my Accel base. From what I understand, it never went to the welder so he just socked it away when i gave it to him and didn't do any work at all on it. Project is on hold solely because of him.

Re: Dr. Jay's

That sucks.
I was going to send him my intake manifold to port this year,
because I heard he did a great job at it.
I heard he was having financial problems, so I didn't...
I hope everything works out with him, because he has many potential clients here.

Last time I asked you, you had a long line, how is it now.
Also do you have my flow bench adapter for the TPI base.

Hawk,

I have a new base that has had the injectors moved up and out, good for a big motor (400) or a 350 that will turn 6,800 or so. What are you building, maybe I have the parts to get your project back on track.

Re: Dr. Jay's

There are a lot of people mad at him for the reasons stated so get in line. There is also a rumor that he was over at the Long Beach swap meet selling parts. I also let it be known to certain people that your TPI intake manifold was over at his shop and to look for it. I never heard back. I think at this point it is best to move on and hopefully Jerry can help you out.

Edit: I talked to the welder and he never saw it. He knows what it is as he has welded up a couple of mine.

Sounds good, seems like it would fit the bill. Any flow numbers?

Re: Dr. Jay's

I will see if the flow sheet is with it, I did flow it at Westech and if I remember it was in the 310 to 320 range. Do you have a combo that will support it.
I also have a ported base with the injectors in the stock location, if that fits your head / cam combo better.

310/320 would serve my build well. Don would have more info, but I think that works. Could you PM more details...price and what not.

I'm using AS&M runners, Don is hogging out my plenum and then I'm going to send it to extrude hone. Ported Sportsman II heads, I think Don knows the numbers I'm not too sure.
