I need selling advice.

Thinking of selling my firebird since my family is low on income. i really dont want to but if we face losing one of our houses it will probably have to happen. i want to know what i can probably get for it.
car is a v6 2.8lmpfi
pros: -Engine rebuilt about a year ago
-top end rebuilt again around july 2012
-transmission rebuilt august 2011
-fluid refilled around august 2012
-new radiator august 2012
-thermostat 185(2012)
-new water pump in 2011
-4 wheel discs
-new brake pads
-brake fluid flushed and refilled
-tires have lots of life left in them
-posi rear end
-dropped on sportlines
- led replacement for interior lights
-New california legal cat
-Magnaflow exhaust.(not annoying)
- new struts and shocks
-silverstar headlights
cons:
-could use new paint and very minor body work
-dash lights keeps shorting out, only the gauges
-speedo reads under
-gas tank is dirty. but i have a cleaner one in the backyard.

car is mechanically fine. runs perfect with no problems. once in a while the fuel filter needs to be changed since the tanks dirty. i havnt put more then 10k miles since i brought it back on the road. 98k miles. now at under 107K
so basically everything on the car is decently new. ive have more then 6k invested into it not including the blood and sweat ive put into it. hours on end to get it running and replacing things myself. diagnosing and getting things perfect.
i have people that can vouch for the car. including my uncle who rebuilt the cars motor. and i have a reciept from the work done on the transmission.
i know i cant get anything close to what ive spent on it but what would be an estimated price i could maybe get from what ive said?? could use that help. thanks guys
-Aaron

Re: I need selling advice.

Probably not what you want to hear, but I would bet you would not get more than $1500 for it.
A V6 with over 100K milles that could use paint isn't really too appealing no matter how much mechanical work you had done.
I hope you can prove me wrong and get 3 or 4 k for the car, but I wouldn't count on it.

Re: I need selling advice.

I sold a similar car, but had a fresh Maaco paint job ($500) and aftermarket rims. I sold it for $2800. This was 7 yrs ago.
