Re: Burnout91
Hi Allen, I've been laying low; staying out of the heat and dodging brush fires. And, trying to convince that Yank SS4000 to jump out of the box and jump in between the motor and trans.
The installation card that came with the TC demands that a 150 mile break-in period be observed. It says you are supposed to take it easy for a while (no brake stalling, no stall checking, no WOT starts...) to properly break-in the TC clutch... any pointers / observations on this break-in? Or, 'just do it.'

Hehehe. Just keeping a lookout in my rearview mirror just incase. It won't take much for you to go roaring by me.
I drove the 150 miles to break in my Yank converter. Just took it easy with a combination of city and highway driving. I think Yank uses a Kelvar lining and need a gentle break in period. So no wide open throttle usage.
