q's for my swap

hi guys I'm trying to swap an lt1 from my crashed 93 z28 a4 and put in my 86 iroc but has any one done this in cali is this smog legal .and I looked in the swap boards but did not see any headers with the smog stuff ? I know that don makes some headers will it work with this swap. thanks guys I've been reading all the posts on here for years finally joined two years ago. been trying to go to one of the cruises but iroc didn't run all that well had my 93 but been working on that one too. then got him going nice than my bro-in-law parked inside of it from behind . so thanks for any info guys

Yes you can swap in a '93 LT1, but when you're done you will need to go to the state referee and have the car inspected. They are very detailed and you must have EVERYTHING installed that a '93 f-body came with. I would recommend going to the referee with the stock LT1 manifolds first and then swapping in Don's headers later, as the regular smog techs are not as strict.
