Fontana Race Results
I can tell you that everyone had new bests today. Some really jumped. I will let them post the results. It was windy with the wind blowing out of the Cajon Pass. Most left after two passes. Vincent, Ben and maybe Brian stayed as conditions were good except for the wind. The track was biting pretty good.
Anways my ET went down slightly to 12.71. However my MPH jumped up to 107.65 for almost a 2mph increase.

Congrats to everybody on their new bests! Thanks to everyone who helped out!
I broke into the 13's! It figures... the one time I forget my helmet!
I got a 13.97 at 97.27 mph on the first pass, and a 13.95 at 97.70 mph. (And a 1.88 60'. )
New mods: a 52mm TB (thanks to Allen), functional shocks (KYB GR2's, thanks Vincent & Don) (& Dave), my very own slicks, (TY to Jerry for helping find some rims) and that super engine cleaning stuff Don used to help get rid of the carbon deposits that were causing pinging.
I didn't dyno yesterday but it definitely picked up between 5-10 hp, mostly with the engine cleaning.

Thanks to Kevin for a good chip burn on the dyno and his pops for a good engine build(with my help and some knowledge) for making my car the fastest car in the club with a 355cu in engine.
Everyone has a new best this weekend.

I had a great time, I'm glad everyone got a new best, even Vincent.
I finally got a respectable time worth posting.
ET 12.586 / MPH 112.88.
Hopefully once SC3G is back up I can get my time on 'the list'.
I tried another run but messed up the launch. Still need a lot more practice on slicks. When do we go again, I might be moving in March.

Wow, great, Vincent and Ben! I didn't stick around to see the results...
You can always run the 1/8 Thursdays at Irwindale, Ben. It isn't the same but you can practice leaving the line. Alot. And it's friendlier to street tires.

There was defintely wind, weather it was a crosswind or a tail wind is debateable. I think it was a tail wind when Vincent was racing.
Mostly a crosswind through out the day. It did keep things cool which was nice but you did have to steer into a bit sometimes.

The track was biting good for once. I did my normal Fontana take off on the first round and noticed how good the hook up was. Hit it harder the next time and set the new times for me. I believe if I had made another pass I could have done better. Same goes for Don and Julie.
