eBay seller warning...
Attached is a link to my post warning about my recent experience purchasing some tooling from Hagemeyer Auction Outlet. I hope this helps prevent someone else from falling prey to their deceptive eBay auctions.

That's messed up! I'm sure you've already sent a letter to e-Bay alerting them to this company's deceptive advertising. If you paid via PayPal, don't they have a cash back guarantee of their own?
Thanks for the heads-up.

Lon,
Aren't there any foreign companies making "good quality" C-clamps these days? Or, is it all considered junk if it's not made in the U.S.?
I remember when Craftsman rachets had the metal release buttons and levers on them instead of the plastic ones they now have.

Yes part of it is about the quality of the parts. But more important to me is keeping workers at US manufacturing plants employed. SEARS is actually a good example of a retail company I like. They offer their customers the choice of their Craftsman brand hand tools (made in USA) or Companion brand (import). Sadly I can't buy my favorite Levi's 501 shrink-to-fit jeans any longer since they closed their last domestic plant. I've had to switch to Wranglers.

Same reason why I stopped buying Kumho's I wanted to support a domestically made tire, so when I did some research on Nitto and found that they were in Torrance I incorrectly assumed that the tires were made in the USA. Once I received the set I have on the IROC I was dismayed to see 'Made in Japan' stamped on them Looks like I will have to go with BFGs from now on as Falken (aka Goodyear) tires are not an option
