SMOKIN' on CENTRAL AVE. this Saturday ....
I always get there no later than 10:30 am.

Entry fee is now $15. ...that includes an Event t-Shirt, Dash Plaque, and event Window Sticker.

Nancy Perry puts on this event. Most people don't know that she has to pay the owners of the parking lot to use it for this event, pay the Phx PD for security, pay for the port-a-johns, Live Music, DJ, and pay to take out a million $ insurance bond.

I know that some people are upset about the $15. but they don't realize the cost to put something like this together.

Hope to see a lot of Third Gens out there. When you see my White '83 Z-28 w/ license plate 83ZZZ28, stop and say Hi !

Me and a couple guys are meeting on 32nd st and McDowell at 1130 then going. You think we should be there earlier and where should we go it's my first cruise?

11:30 - 12:00 is a good time to arrive, there should still be parking spots... but it fills up Fast after that.

I first arrive around 7:30 am. to block off an area that I have reserved for my self and some friends, that way we all can park together. Then I come back a little later. These spots can only be held until 11:00 am., then I have to release them.

If you would like me to any spots for you and your firends, Third Gen or not... just let me know.

That's really cool of you thank you. I unfortunately can't gat a babysitter until 12 so won't be there until around 1pm. I will make the best of it though. Where should I go when I get there to find you or some third gens?

well then ****.... everyone who said they were meeting up has had to cancel, i guess ill just go straight to the show and help you hold spots 83ZZZ28. i should get there by 10~ish. i know it starts at 1 but i don't have plans... ever (no job/school/life/etc...)

so I didn't want to make a new thread for this but I finally has the monies to take my bird to another show (and being that there are a ton of them going on this weekend) I was wondering if you guys could give me some insight on what the best one would be to go to.

those are the 4 that I would love to go to. but the problem is I could only maybe do 2 if I really tried hard. so I'm just wondering if anyone here has been to any of these and could possibly tell me which one would be the best one to go to.

Thorobred Thunder... is a All Chevy/Chevy powered show... I haven't been to Rails, Rods, & Steel Wheels for 3 years, but it was a good show... Have never been to the other 2 shows.

Thanks JMD for posting this show. I always look forward to checking out the new stuff. Sometimes it's funny... a car may look really great on TV, but when you sit in it ... what a piece of junk. But, others that you sit in .. OMG I want this car NOW ! lol.

The C7 looks good in person. They had a TR6070 equipped yellow GS(I think) there.

Lots of nice vehicles there. The most surprising was a Sprinter chassis with long service bed on the back. Didn't really check out the Camaros. Did drive a Scion FR-S and Cherokee. The FR-S is a fun too-small-for-me track car that could use some sound insulation and torque. The Cherokee has some nice mpg improvements but isn't otherwise much excitement.

there was a C7 at the cruise on central. thing looked awesome
