Differential Pinion Yoke

Does anyone know where to get a new differential pinion yoke for a 10 bolt rear end? I was replacing the pinion seal today because it's leaking and found that there are grooves in the yoke. So if anyone knows of a place I can pick one up it would be appreciated.

Try the local yards. Usually any 10 bolt would work.

Re: Differential Pinion Yoke

I was able to get one from Courtesy Chevrolet. The last one they had in stock. So hopefully I can get the car back together this weekend. All that's left is putting the exhaust back together, putting a new oil pressure sender/switch in and possibly fixing the oil dipstick tube. Then I can get emissions done

Courtesy keeps a lot of stuff in stock. It's really nice to be able to get something I need on a Saturday.

I used to get referred to Brown & Brown a lot for parts but it's been Courtesy for a while.

Re: Differential Pinion Yoke

The yoke went on just fine. Now I just have to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't leak anymore. The fuel pump definitely fixed the problem I was having. I've been driving the TA around the neighborhood to test everything out. Looks like the next part may be a new starter though. Always something.

Yeah I have no plans of getting rid of the car. I was going to ask you a couple of questions though. Do you remember exactly where the O2 sensor is on these headers? Also, how much trouble did you have changing the spark plugs? I'm trying to get the car emissions legal again. It failed with a 36.99 on the carbon monoxide test and 2.09 on the hydrocarbons.

Re: Differential Pinion Yoke

libolt, how did you go about removing the BIG nut that holds the yoke to the diff? I snapped a bolt in the yoke and I am having no luck drilling it out. Also, every time I try loosening the nut, the wheel hubs spin. Forgot to mention, the rear axle is off the car.
