ok about a year ago i bought a 1990 iroc to use as a parts car for my 86 but when i brought it home i realized how nice of a car it would be if fixed up so i decided i wasnt going to gut it. however, i have found it hard to put money in the car when my 86 needs so much. i dont want to sell the car to just anybody because i would like to know that the buyer will have the intentions of fixing it and not scrapping it or making a gutted race car. it is a 1990 iroc camaro 5.7 g92 hardtop car. it was originally bright red with grey leather interior and all power options. everything is present in the car other than electric fans,fog lights,exhaust(nothing from manifolds back) and other minor parts. when i purchased the car i was told the transmission was blown and so was the fuel pump so i bought a pump but when we pulled the tank it wwas rusted beyond repair so it also needs a fuel tank. the engine is not locked up as it will turn over easily by hand.all a/c and fuel injection equipment is there.there were only 4000 irocs made in 1990 and only 2000 were 350 cars so this car could become valuable some day. the front cap of the car is a little rough but from the windshield back is straight as can be. I hope i dont get flamed for putting this in this section.

Ha how did I forget to put that......I will take 750 as is and 1000 if I buy a new tank for it and get it running......the symptoms the previous owner described for the transmission sounded like a stuck or broken governor but don't quote me on that

pics. would be a help . with a rusted gas tank one has to wonder about the rest of the unibody/frame/structure . think you have a parts car only . if you were closer I would ck. it out for parts . good luck .

Well it sat up without a gas cap and an empty tank for at least a year.....it's not rusted through just oxidized on te inside......the rest of the car seems solid.....honestly the car is not too far gone to do a restoration on but I just can't juggle two projects

Shame that thing is that far away. I have a 90 RS that was wrecked in the front but has everything I need to make that thing run and I miss my old hard top 91-Z... would be interested, but getting ready to be screwed on my pay and it's a bit of a distance. Good luck with sale though - someone, I'd imagine, should pick this up.

I am looking for a solid straight Camaro to build a street machine. ZZ4, 6 speed, 12 bolt posi..., you get the picture. An IROC or Z-28 will be perfect. My TA's are both too low mileage and original to modify.
