florida gathering july 23rd
3rd gen meet July 23rd at the Hooters in Merritt Island. Starts at 12PM till whenever.

There have been quite a few responses on the other thread so i'm hoping we have a decent turnout, and that the weather cooperates. Even if you can't bring your third gen, just show up in whatever you have. I may have to show up in my Geo Metro because my wheels are taking so long to be shipped to me

I think lunch would be best time to meet up for those with longer drives who don't want to stay out too late. How about being there at noon? Can get a drink and watch/talk cars as they pull in. Eat around 2pm, and then when everyone is ready to leave, head out.

Thanks Larry. It took me a couple of pitchers of beers to come up with. Kidding but that should give eveyone plenty of time to get there and leave early enough to make it home at a decent hour.

Not able to bring a thirdgen but I'll be headin down from daytona. My 90 and 91 rs's r both getting torn down and rebuilt but it'll be nice to get some advice and meet some local enthusiasts.

No, I have not been in touch with any of the guys from jacks area. I don't live there but they pass by where I will be getting on 95. I would like to meet up with others. It makes for a nice showing when we get there.

Talked to hooters already. They have no problem with accommodating us. I reserved space for 20 people but told them there will probably be more. Parking they can't reserve for us due to the lot having other stores but it's so large we should have no problem. Put the reservation under "third gen" so when you get there just say that.

Agreed. Good to meet you all. We had a beautiful day. Didn't rain at all at hooters and afterwards I went to the beach and the weather was still nice. Hopefully I will be able to bring the car out next time. MJ fixed the brakes on the truck and I rented a trailer and just as luck would have it my car doesn't start. Awesome timing. Oh well. Hopefully see some of you soon.

We do need a Tampa meet but...not everyone who showed was from Tampa. I will make a different thread for that. While in merritt loneroad brought up bradenton or Orlando to make some passes/watch or do some autocrossing. Thoughts?
