Greenville F-Body Meeting
Well it finally happened at the cruise in at Kevin Whitaker. We had 4 members show. Me, GatorZ28, IROCZUl8r, and a rare Vaper siting. I appreciate these guys for showing up especially Vaper whose wife was feeling under the weather. One thing I would like to suggest is that we meet at another location on a Saturday because that was a cluster at Kevins and we couldn't get our cars together. If we want to do it on the same night maybe we could meet a Hooters or the parking lot right next Kevin Whitaker where the Oak furniture shop is so we can talk and then go look at cars. Well hopefully we can get more to show but again thanks for the guys who did. It was good to meet ya.

I like the idea of meeting up before the cruise inn, that way maybee we can pull in to kevin whitakers at the same time and all park next together. The next time we all meat we should try and decide on a place too meet and how to gather some more 3rd gens. It was Nice meeting you Vaper and Coop89RS, and see iroczul8r!

Hey man, it was cool seeing you out there. I'm gonna get under the hood of my car and do some cleaning before the Charlotte autofair, so I'll look a little closer and find out which one it is. Catch you all later!

Ok vaper, you were right...the larger fuel line is the feed. I took the air cleaner and junk off and traced it out. Good luck w/the swap!
And Gator, I'm going up to Charlotte Sept 14th. I'm gonna see if I can make it to Goodguys too cause I love the hotrods they show there!
Later,
Craig

Guys I hate to tell you this but I have gotten rid of my 89RS. Traded in yesterday for a 30th anniversary 1997 Z-28. It is white with the orange racing stripes. It was sad to part with it but with the expense I knew was going to get it back into shape I decided to get another car instead. I hope you guys will forgive me, LOL. At least I have a LT1 with working AC.

Brad! What did you say about hating "those 4th gens"? hehehe Congrats on the new purchase! And yeah, you still gotta meet up w/us since you're still an F-body owner!
I'm going to the Autofair since I'm supposed to be in it. The show people are supposed to be there at 7:30, but the gates "officially" open to everyone at 8.

Hey man! Wasn't it raining up there? I ended up not going since it looked like it was gonna rain, and I had some junk to do for school. I wasn't about to drive 2 1/2 hours just to get rained on and waste a day up there. How was it? I heard they were paying tribute to the f-body since it's been killed!

The tribute to the f-bodys was just a couple of camaros under a tint. One 4th, one 3rd, one 2nd, and two 1st gens. The rain stoped at about 9 and when i left at 2 it still wasn't raining. The turn out was good. they filled up the track and under the seats.

Ok, you're coming south on I-85 right? I'm not sure of the exit number, but when you're getting near Greenville, you want to take the I-385 North exit. Be careful merging on though, cause it's rather nasty in that area w/construction and everything. Then you want to take the Haywood Road exit off of 385 and turn left. Then go past the mall and all the stuff on that road until you get to the end and turn right and merge onto Laurens Road. You should be able to see Kevin Whitaker on your left after you make the turn. Again, sorry I don't have the exit numbers, but hopefully that's clear!

Hey guys. I didn't get down there until around 7:30. It's a longer drive than I originally thought.
I was impressed with the turnout, that's a nice thing they have going down there. I ended up talking to Bruce Hawkins (Hawk's third gen) and looked at his LS1 powered '91 Firebird. Nice sleeper. Sorry I missed the rest of you guys, maybe next time.

And don't forget that Goodguys is this Saturday.

Vaper, It looks like we need to have another get together to check out your car! I'm excited to see it! Did you have to much trouble swapping it to carb?

Hey Mark, I saw you as you were heading out, so I didn't get a chance to talk to ya. You're right though, it wasn't a real good turnout. As far as I know that's the last one, but I'm not sure about that. Goodguys is this Saturday? Whoa, I forgot about that! I don't know what the h/w load is gonna be, or if there might be something else going on. I just had a bunch of tests this past week and today, so maybe it won't be too heavy! Have to wait and see. Congrats on the car Vaper!

All my Greenville buds drive mustangs, except one and he drives a 10 sec 4th gen Camaro. We used to go to Anderson and street rase a few years back. Great scene down there.

What about the first weekend in December? I think the date is the 7th. That way it will give time for everyone to get off from work and everything. We just need to pick a place
