Are any of you guys in the Camaro club? I think they're trying to get a cruise in going here pretty soon. Last one I went to at the Bumpers in Pearl,, I was the only 3rd gen car there. Mostly 1st and 4th,, a couple 2nd gens,,, and me. I plan on joining the next time they have another cruise in.

i was out cruising around tonight and pulled into a bowling ally parking lot and there was a white 91-92 firebird there. it has a sticker that goes across the bottom part of each door that says "firebird v8" and it has a hood like on the newer TA'S no the Ram Air, but the ones with the little "nostrils" on them and had a big bird on the hood. i'm not a big fan of firebird, but that car looked friggen bada**. if anybody knows this person i would definatly love to get to see a closer view of that car.

dude... u talkin about the bowlin alley right across from sonic? and by hudson's and all that? my friend came inside and goes dude there's a sweet firebird out there... got a V8.. and i was like how u know? he goes... haha... it said Firebird V8 on the side... me and my friends go up there every saturday nite... all the lil imports are always out there revin their lil fart pipes up... me and my friend both have 91 RS's... mine's in the shop right now gettin painted... hopefully next weekend it'll be up there... maybe we can meet up... what kinda car u got?

yeh i drive through there every couple of w/e's, just riding around. i've got a 91 z28 'vert black w/crager street lite 346 series rims on it, not to hard to miss since i only know of one other 91 z28 'vert black in pearl. you dont happen to have a blue rs would you? w/ the 3rd brake light in the spoiler. i pulled out of the parking lot the same time as that person. it was a nice looking car. and yeh we can meet next w/e or something. dont run into to many 3rd gen enthusiast around here, heh

wasn't my RS... mine was a DARK blue 91... but now it's getting painted Metallic Teal w/ Pearl Blue or Purple ghost flames... and the guy that just posted above me has a Black 91 RS

You got one more in north MS now. I am in the process of moving to Southaven from Golden, CO.

What I welcome I got too. My Z was stolen last Thursday night, my 4th day here, from the hotel I am staying in.

I spent the last 2 years rebuilding her and dumped another grand into her in the last couple weeks to finish her up to bring her out here. They recovered her this morning, but she is not in to good of shape. I may need some info from some of you to make some contacts to find all the stuff to get her back to the way she was last week.

Right now I am in a hotel over near the airport. After I close on my house Tuesday I will be in the Greenbrook area of Southaven. I have to visit the highway patrol tomorrow to get a temp tag so I can even get the damn thing out of the police yard. I started it today, after it toom me forever to get into it, but they would not let me move it to make sure it would even drive. I guess we will find out soon enough.

yeah, I did not know this was such a wonderful area here by the airport. I tried to find a different room once I got here and the girls at my new office warnedme that it would get stolen if I stayed here. Unfortunately I could not find anything else that would keep me for two weeks. I will be out of here in a couple more days. I think I will leave the car at the police yard until I get out of here. Not that it would be to desirable in the condition it sets in now.

I will no know the full extent of the damage until I can get it out on the road. So we will see....

I am going to get it out of the impound lot later today. I am going to bring it to work where I can park it in one of our sevice bays at night, until I get into my house and can move it there. So I should be ok. I agree the impound is not in such a great area either.

Hey Everyone, I just joined the forum, mainly because I found there are other people from MS on here!! I live right outside of Jackson. And oh yeah, I got my '92 Firebird for my 16th b-day (yeah, I'm young!), and I absolutely love it!!! :rockon: They are SO awesome!! Mississippi is a great place to go cruising with the top down!

nice firebird, you from clinton i think ive seen that car around, im from pearl, ms i've got a black 91 z28 convertible im fixing up and a 84 gmc sierra with 450 hp under the hood, looking for another camaro or ta to put the engine and tranny in, or just swap the whole truck for a nice camaro or ta. just traded off a 91 trans am too.

I've only ever seen one other car like mine around here, but the guy had gold rims instead, and i'm pretty sure he moved. I don't think I've seen your car around, because I'd remember seeing a black Z28, because those cars are just too clean. I'd love to see your camaro or TA w/ that engine swapped into it, that would be one bad car!! Do you know any good shops around the Jackson area that does engine work and what not for a resonable price? Oh yeah, you got any pics of your camaro?

well the z28 is always here in pearl, but its nothing pretty a project car that the previous owners ragged out, pretty bad, its heck of a 10 footer though, but up close ugly, $99 black paint job over the original red, its a sad situation, that ill soon fix, only reason the engine isnt in yet, i really want to go with a hopped up l98/6-speed combo, and i plan on going w/ the ram air ii hood, and 18 in torq-thrust ii's ive got a friend gonna paint it back red, with black anniversary strips, and the seats are being redone in leather, but it'll be at least another year to a year and half before im even half way there, money's pretty tight right now,

but if you know anybody that might be willing to buy the truck im asking $3000 for it
its an 84 gmc sierra swb, new rims and tires
355 w/ chevy bowtie heads, lunati cam 305/540, forged pistons (drilled and balanced) (can use nitrous, but i never have), x-rods, forged crank and so on and so on, turbo 350 tranny w/ shift kit and stock rear-end

I am from Oxford, sorta NW, MS. I know there are at least 10 third gen Firebirds in town, and probably 20 third gen Camaros. It would be nice if there were a North MS third gen association around here.
