Dude, sorry! I didn't mean to tick you off, but it's like I've got to be AT work by 7 am! Oh well, I've got a lot of ppl ticked at me right now, so that's nothing new! At least your car is running! I was just rather annoyed that you all seemed to want to get together so bad, but never seemed to care to show up. So, whatever!

Well now I hope everyone has cooled down now. I understand everyone works different hours. I just would like to get everyone together at least once. The guy who runs Hawks 3rd gen parts is in Easley and he said he would help us out with parts or whatever if we could get organized. Sounds like a pretty cool guy. So hope fully we can meet one of these days.

Craig,
I would have no problem meeting up with everyone. I understand you have to get up early for work, but don't cut me down because your too tired to come hang out. Its just that I have things to do on saturday like WORK. Either I'm working or my car has some damn problem. Like I said before..... once the car is fixed you will see me there.
Coop,
How often do you talk with the guy from hawks?

I would love to make it to the Myrtle beach gathering but dew to lack of funds i will not be able to attend. especialy now since i was messing with an import and blew a whole in me exhaust.
I've said before i'm all for a F-dody gathering in Greenville, but i am coming from Seneca and it is a good drive to Greenville. That and the fact that i don't know where a thing is in Greenville except for Hooters and Auto Zone cause a body of mine works there. Just keep me posted and i will make it when i can.

Hey upstate Camaro guys, let me know when you all can get together. I am back from vacation and ready to meet. Besides, I have a bunch of questions to ask about performance upgrades and the usual camaro stuff.
Is it wrong to ask if anyone locally can burn me a performance chip for $$, instead of buying the Jet or Hypertech types? If I asked something that is taboo, let me know and I will not ask it again.
Thanks all...:hail:

Well guys I took my first visit to Greer Dragway on official business aka Army recruiting. I talked to the owner Mike Greer and he is a real nice guy. There were some fast cars there too. There was a purple 1st gen camaro with a 600 cube motor and it did 133mph in the 1/8th now that is movin and no NOS. It cost $5 to either race or watch.

Hey No4NJunk were you in your car? I was in the work van. I left around 8pm. I tell you Greer Dragway lets you get right up to the action with all of those folks hangin out around the startin line. If something was to blow man I would hate to be there.

well i think we should try and get 20 camaros to show up. i think we can do that if we plan ahead and get the word out. i think i an egt two or three ppl to come with me with their 3rd gens. august is good. and i am not old enough to take my car to the track yet so i will be 16 by the time aug rolls around and i wanna see what she will do. a cruise in somewhere then juss chill take pics talk cars until the strip opens up, then run a few times and call it a nite. sounds reely good to me. besides a mustang a day keeps the junkyard away.

Kevin Whitaker is having there Cruise In on July 13. It starts a 5pm. I would suggest that if you want to have a good parking place be there before 6 or you wont get a spot. It was crowded last time. Please tell me I will not be the only one there again with a car.

BAD NEWS!!
my new heads suck ***! I bent a valve already and snapped some pushrods.
The 58cc heads are coming off and I'm going to port and polish, gasket match, and bowl blend my original heads and raduis the seats. My friend and I should be able to get it done soon but I don't know If I can make it to the next cruise in. I'm also getting a new radiator, and built turbo 350 (looking for a drive shaft from a 200 r4!! If anyone can help me call 864-587-2296)
Anyway, keep your fingers crossed! I'm guessing about a 2 week down time . Hopefully this will get me into the 8s.

There is everything from restored 1930's vehicles to 60's muscle cars to 2002 Vette's. No imports though. American is what this cruise in is about.

Alright I am terrible with directions but here it goes. If you are coming from Beaufort you need to like you are going to Colubia then in Columbia get on 26 West. After 50 miles or so 26 will Y into 385, take 385. After about 50 miles you will be coming into Greenville. I forgot the exit number but it is the Haywood Road exit. Take this exit and at the light take a left. Follow that all the way to the end and you will see us on the right. There will be a Hooters on the left. Now from Charleston I do not know. Might have to take 85

Do not get on 85 you will be on 385. Get off at the Haywood rd exit. It will take you to Laurens Rd, at that intersection look to your right and you will see Kevin Whitaker.

Coop,
Thats my step dads vette. Micheal stiles!!! He just got it running but I didn't know he made it to the show. I'm still working on my damn car. Just bought a new Aluminum radiator and trans cooler. Car should be done soon. Give me a call at 587-2296 and we'll talk about sticking that rear in.
