a new milestone...

It looks like I've been hanging around this place for 10 years now, as evidenced by the graphic that is now part of my profile. It's doesn't seem like it has been that long. Anyway, I think I like it.

Re: a new milestone...

Pretty close but it seems you got the jump on me by a few months.

I think that it is a relatively new feature. I first noticed yours recently.

BTW, how is your car running, I don't think that I have seen it yet.

Re: a new milestone...

It running OK.. needs some chip tuning, speedometer repaired, and finish the ground effects. I should be able to start body work and paint on her then. She does run and drive though. I took it to the bear creek meet... one of the three cars that showed. All I need now is to become a supreme member or a moderator.. lol

When it comes to getting old I'm pretty sure I have you both beat there. Sail, you weren't even born yet when I got my Camaro.

Drew, will you be coming to the meet a Tom Bass park tomorrow?
I would really like to see your car.

Sorry you can't make it.

Forecast calls for 72 degrees and mostly sunny. It should be nice.

You have owned your car since new? Thats pretty cool. Must know every nut and bolt just by looking at it by now
My uncle has owned his 70 ss chevelle since he got it brand new. It still looks like it was bought last week.
I bought a brand new 02 onyx black camaro hardtop ss from landshark. But i sold it. Its the only car ive bought new and regret selling it.

Re: a new milestone...

Yep, it was my first car. After working for 2 years and saving my money, I bought it on my 16th birthday. I didn't even get my license until a week later. And I plan to go out and do a big gnarly, preposterously smokey burnout tomorrow, just for fun.

Looking at it? I would know them blindfolded. There isn't a single part that isn't welded in that I have not removed and replaced at least 4 times and some that are welded in. After 30 years, it is still my favorite toy.
