I'm trying to sort things out, but it doesn't look good. I'm probably at about a 10% chance...

Re: tomorrow night royal purple raceway
Looks like I could have gone last weekend afterall. Nobody showed up but me. The intake port was worth .1, and 2 mph. That put me at 2.106 60ft, 14.075 @ 99.28mph. I changed the fuel pressure from 55psi @ idle to 40 psi @ idle and my wife rode with me(she had not done so previously). The 60ft time was 2.105 (the prep was good, and I was able to get relativly consistent 60ft times), but the et got worse. 14.132 @ 98.18. I left the fuel pressure alone and decided to move on to advancing the timing to 4 BTDC(low grade octane gas). It had been set to about 3 ATDC.
The engine had a slightly audible, but brief detonation, and again I had a passenger. Despite the detonation, it got faster. 2.068 60ft, 13.998 @ 98.71mph.
The last pass of the night I lost the passenger, and changed nothing else.
2.037 60ft, 13.889 @ 99.57 mpg.
I'm dissapointed that I had to start tuning the timing and fuel pressure to break into the 13's but hey, I'll take it.
