I called and checked with the park authority this morning and was told that all the Pavillions for Saturday and Sunday in April were already reserved a long time ago... they on the other hand could not tell me if someone else had reserved one for our meet? By any chance did anyone already reserve anything through the park authority?

to hold it more than a couple of days they need a deposit.
$100.00 or $125.00 IIRC.

If someone from here had reserved it, I suspect we would have heard about it.
But even if we don't get the pavilion, there is lots of space and some smaller BBQ's right across the parking lot.

well since im gettin tax money soon i am gonna make this meet my goal. have bennt trying to clean the gta up too. (minus the body damage from old ladys running red lights) but i should be where i need to be mechanically.
i guess put me down for 1 car two people.
ill try and keep checking the board near the date of the meet so i can see what we still need. (food,drinks etc.)

Looks like I won't be making it after all. I'll be out of the country visiting family and friends. Good and bad. I haven't been back home in over a year. But I had a GREAT time at the Bear Creek meet 2 years ago. (Had to work last year during the Father's Day Bear Creek meet. Man did I ever want to go)

Ewwww TBI! LOL, looks great, probably going to only have 1 car there, the TA is not going as smooth as i need it to and the car still needs paint and body work, no luck on new fenders and the trans needs to come back out so i can swap to a larger converter.

to the top. next saturday!!!!!! here is how she sits right now. the rest of my parts should be in wednesday. then it is putting it back together and getting her cleaned up. center gauge panel-(fuel,oil,water temp) lights dont work but i know what it is. throttle body needs a new regulator diaphram, and the new racetronix harness should also be in. also going to fix some rattles and already welded up some leaks in the exhaust.

Also, if anyone is looking for parts check out the state wide meet swap meet thread, if someone is in Houston with parts you want, it's a lot easier to bring parts to bear creek than austin

Hey guys havent posted in a while, wrecked my maro and that kinda caught me offguard.

Ill be showing up in a white firebird.

Me, foster and a friend with a gta plan on driving up to katy from south houston, so if anyone wants to meet up with us and cruise up there together post and we can make arrangements hopefully by tomorrow. (were all in the se houston area by 45 and monroe)
