Man Zan, your a madman. You do more activities with your camaro than anyone I know. I wish I could get the time to get mine back up. I am changin jobs right now and I have a lot of hustling to do to get into gear with this new one so I havent had time to do anything. I am planning on doing some body work next month after my schedule smoothes out a bit then I will figure out if I want to mess with this cooling problem or build a new motor.

I'm hoping to finish putting my car back togther tomorrow. I won't have it ready in time to go racing though. I'm hoping to get to drive it Saturday...maybe to Otto's or something.

Thats cool, ill let you guys know, i dont expect anything special, i am going to run as is, with the mech secondary, and with the cutouts open. I might put the slicks on just to make sure it doesnt break loose badly, but no serious launching. Just to get a baseline ya know?

Ya I'm interested...but my car still isn't put back together...and I would have to go round up my drag tires...but it is a definate maybe.
It just depends on whether or not I can make the time to get it put back together and make it out there. I have never been to HMP so I would like to go check it out.

That would be awesome, i am trying/struggling to bring some folks out to play/tune. Hope you can make it, i will be bringing my slicks but just to not spin, not hard launches. I would have my dana 44 in this month but my future child has sucked up the funds....til the little thing is born.

I bested my old 9.0 at 81 MPH by a
8.47 at 89.78 MPH

Nice! Thats pretty good for the first time youve run it and with a new carb setup. An 8.45 in the 8th is a 13.18 in the 1/4 so your looking pretty solid. That motor has 12's in it for sure. Your still running 2.73 gears right?

I'm thinking that, with almost 90 mph, if you got a good solid launch you should be close to an 8.0 ET.
My old motor ran 8.0 @90 mph with a 1.8xx 60ft. So, I think you have the power to knock almost 4/10ths off of your 60 foot with a strong axle, a little more gear and some sticky tires.

Well, the dana 44 with 3.73s will deffinatly help BIG time, i think it should go as low as 7.7 with the rear in, but i still wont really be able to launch till i get the T56 in and suspension.Yea, i still have a 2.73, but i never had the chance to swap to my pro form carb, there was only 3 passes made by me, and that was being there for 5 hours. Damn trailer cars were messing everything up.
