Re: Just got back from the Winter Gathering

So good to meet you guys that i have never had the pleasure. Great rides man. Wish the weather would not have scared some from far out of the way. Good people, good food, good weather. I personally am so glad the weather turned out the way it did.

Cannot wait till the next time, MAN that camaro without the hood was SWEET

Re: Just got back from the Winter Gathering

This was the best meet that i have been to in a long time! I think this meet would have made Craig(Zap Racing) very proud as he had probably motivated a lot of us to continue meeting at least annually & for us to be proud of owning 3rdgens. It was great seeing guys i havent seen in a few years and putting faces to screen names of those i havent met. To Charcoal Bird & Lucid, it was awesome of you guys to drive all the way here & i personally promise you that if work allows i will drive to S.A. for any big meets you guys organize. I hope that we can start having at least small gatherings every 2 months if possible, i know that i may start planning a meet for Sealy or Baytown in like March for those of us that want to race. Again thanks to everyone that showed up. all your cars were in great shape & it helped for my wife to see what good paint jobs look like so now i can get my car in the bodyshop very soon

I am glad you got the girl out of the shop Daniel. I am glad Brad got his car to the meet, i hope he keeps going on it and never gives up. Alex's car looked 10 fold better than the last time i seen it. Too bad Jay is talking about selling his body.

Re: Just got back from the Winter Gathering

Yeah, I will never give up. I have had this car for five years on the day to day and I just realized it. When I bought her she was rusted out, dropped to the ground, had ghetto custom wheels, ghetto purple tint, and weak engine and tranny. This car car runs because of the two hands on my body and I plan to keep that way for a long time.

"Too bad Jay is talking about selling his body."

Sad, you should never resort to prostitution.

Couldnt have said it better myself. It was a really nice drive over there and good company, couldnt ask for much more.

In the future we hope to get a better turnout for events, a lot of people were either working or having car trouble. I missed my own graduation to go and meet up with you guys. I had a back spasm and had to go on muscle relaxants which knock me out, thats why we were so late in going over there.

I am going to try and get someone here in charge of event coordination and planning so we can have better involvement with the members.

Looking forward to future events and getting other regional clubs on board with us.
